TONY LAMORTE HAS BEEN BUILDING FURNITURE FOR OVER 50 YEARS
“You can call me Tony!”
Tony began building furniture as a freshman at Cal State LA after serving three years in the Army. After college he taught school for three years and then began building furniture full-time.
Over the years his furniture and artwork have evolved from strict contemporary to a more mid century/art deco style.
He has built furniture for clients all of over the United States.
His work has appeared in galleries such as The Museum of Science of Industry in LA, the Northern Nevada Museum in Elko and the Common Thread Show at University of Nevada, Reno.
Over the years Tony has blended various hard woods with glass, metal and plastic to create unique pieces of furniture and artwork.
Tony enjoys building custom pieces for home or business use. He would be happy to meet with you to discuss your project.
